My friend and I visited Mexican Town in Detroit and discovered the best bakery east of the Mississippi River! It is a place where you can grab a tray and a pair of tongs and go to town gathering the most delicious cookies, rolls and other baked goods.

Just returned from a 2 day road trip from Dearborn to Niles and back along the trail. It was fascinating to see all the small historic towns, old cemeteries, art galleries and old theaters along the route. The many lakes, rolling hills and farms were also wonderful. I recommend this to more...
